SELF HELP: This page is to help you identify what has failed and if several things are possible, how to likely eliminate some possibilities.

This is what Gatsby's Manual's Help says: FLO.

The control system checks for water flow through the circulation / filtration and heater plumbing. During this process the system checks to see if the circulation pump has input current. If an error is detected, the topside control will display the error code “FLO”- THE CURRENT WATER TEMPERATURE-“FLO” And the heater is deactivated. The filter pump may have lost prime and is overheating and stopped running or the filter pump cord is disconnected. Automatic reset will occur if the condition is fixed within 5 minutes. A manual reset is required if the problem persist for longer than 5 minutes. Check for proper water level, make sure the pump is primed, and there are no leaks or clogged filters. This must be repaired by a service technician if the problem persists.

This Is Our Translation: When this works, its great. What it means is similar to PS1. What is saying is it KNOWS it has turned on the circulation/low speed pump and sees that the motor is drawing current so something like the filter must be the problem. .

This Is Our Suggestion: Assume that it's right and you have bad filters. Easiest way to check is turn power off, remove the filters and leave out for this test. Turn power on and operate. If the spa is now OK, clean better or replace the filters. If error remains, either the pump is drawing current but not operating properly or the board has failed.

As mentioned above, if you just changed the water you could have lost its prime. Bleed the pump. If you see the pump working but putting out little water, check to make sure the pump is receiving correct voltage. If you see full water movement, try suggests at: Pressure Switch If you can't isolate the pressure/flow switch as being the problem, you see good water movement, and you get FLO, then likely the board has failed. Before you buy a new board, contact us for more help.
