SELF HELP: This page is to help you identify what has failed and if several things are possible, how to likely eliminate some possibilities.

This is what Gatsby's Manual's Help says: “OHt” Overheating Condition / Watchdog.

The system checks the spa water for temperatures equal to or above 120ºF(48ºC) or the heater enclosure temperature that is equal to or above 125ºF(51ºC). If the spa water temperature is equal to or above 120ºF(48ºC) or the heater enclosure temperature is equal to or above 125ºF(51ºC), the topside control will flash “OHt” - current Water Temp - “OHt” and the entire system will shut down. The “OHt” condition requires a manual reset either by pushing the buttons simultaneously, or by turning the main power off and then back on. The heater hi-limit switch cannot reset until the heater enclosure temperature drops below 123ºF(50ºC) or the water temperature in the spa drops below 117ºF(47ºC). This must be repaired by a service technician if the problem persists.

This Is Our Translation: Water is HOT; at or above 120 degrees. The system has shut down. Reset or turn power off and on. If the water still hasn't cooled then the error will return.

This Is Our Suggestion: The error is saying the spa has overheated. First, did it?  If not and the water is cool, think OH sensor. Could be the board but likely its the sensor.

Next, if it did overheat, don't think "heater". Wish I had a nickel for everyone who for some reason thinks a overheating spa has a heater problem. If anything, the heater is great.

So its overheating because either the temp sensor is giving the wrong temp info to the board and its just keeps heating until the OH sensor shuts the spa down OR.. the board is ignoring the sensor and just keeps heating. Likely its the temp sensor. If you let the spa cool down to a temperature you can test with a digital thermometer and then compare what the topside says and the actual temp is. If different, then try replacing the temp sensor. IF the same or close, then the board is likely the problem.

This can also happen because of summer heat. See: Overheating During Summer

One last thing, all the above assumes the water is HOT. If not and you are getting the OHt error, then now think the OH sensor is shutting down the spa even though the water isn't hot or again, the board is ignoring what sensors are saying and going to a faulty error.
